Will Young reveals the awkward moment he realised he was the subject of a comedian's jokes at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival while sitting in the front row of their show.

Since winning the inaugural series of the ITV talent contest Pop Idol in 2002, Will has gone on to release nine albums and act in film, on stage and in television, as well as appear on Strictly Come Dancing and The Masked Singer.
‘I used to love going to the festival, but I did go to a show years ago and it was a comedian and the bulk of her show was about me,’ he said. Will Young has revealed he once found himself front row at a comedy show taking aim at him As the hosts and his fellow guests looked on nervously, Will continued. ‘It was not very nice about me, and I was in the front row and she said “I don’t know what to do because my show is taking the pi** out of Will Young and he is sitting in the front row”.
