The head-on crash happened at 10:45 p.m. on Saturday.
– A man is dead, and two others are in serious condition after a head-on crash on U.S. Highway 17, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.According to the crash report, the first vehicle was traveling south, and the second was heading north on U.S. Highway 17.Both vehicles collided on the driver’s side, sending both the cars into the grass shoulder of the highway.The driver of the first car died at the scene.
According to FHP, the driver and passenger of the second car are both in the hospital with critical injuries.
