A person died Tuesday afternoon after a shooting in the 3500 block of Leland Avenue on the east side. Shortly after, a person arrived at Eskenazi Hospital with gunshot wounds. IMPD is investigating if the two incidents are related.
INDIANAPOLIS — A person has died after a shooting Tuesday on the east side of Indianapolis, according to IMPD.
Officers found a person, perceived to be an adult male, with gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. IMPD is investigating the cause of the shooting but acknowledged the two incidents were related Tuesday evening.
