Captain America has faced several iconic villains in the MCU, but there are many in Marvel Comics that have yet to debut in the live-action franchise.
Several iconic Captain America villains from Marvel Comics haven't yet battled the star-spangled man with a plan in Marvel Studios' MCU. Chris Evans debuted as the MCU's Steve Rogers in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger, detailing his transformation into Captain America, which took him on an epic journey throughout the MCU's Infinity Saga.
9 Doctor Faustus Johann Fennhoff, a.k.a. Doctor Faustus, debuted in Marvel Comics' 1968 run of Captain America #107, seen to be inducing hallucinations and nightmares in Steve Rogers during his first appearance in an attempt to drive Captain America insane. Faustus was responsible for the creation of the Grand Director, another of Captain America's villains, and the brainwashing of SHIELD Agent Sharon Carter, and even allies with the Red Skull.
6 Cutthroat Daniel Leighton grew up as a member of Brock Rumlow's - who would become Crossbones - gang in New York before becoming an assassin known as Cutthroat, initially hired to battle Spider-Man. Cutthroat later became a member of the Red Skull's Skeleton Crew, vying to become the villain's chief operative, which brought him to odds with Captain America.
3 Hate-Monger Several characters have assumed the moniker of Hate-Monger in the history of Marvel Comics, originally starting as a clone of Adolf Hitler himself. Though introduced as an enemy of the Fantastic Four, the original Hate-Monger also fought Captain America several times during WWII, with his separated consciousness almost being transferred into Steve Rogers' body in one storyline.
