Northern has released an extra 100,000 tickets as part of its Flash Sale with tickets valid between September 11 and October 20
Northern Rail are offering train tickets for as little as just 10p to several Lancashire destinations.
The train operator has launched a flash sale with an extra 100,000 tickets for journeys across the north of England, including to stations like Blackpool, Blackburn, Clitheroe and Southport. Passengers could travel throughout September and October for just 10p a ticket. Northern are targeting tourism hotspots and towns and cities with night-time economy offerings with the hope of providing a post-summer holiday boost to visitor numbers. Examples of the slashed-priced journeys include Manchester Victoria to Blackburn, Manchester Airport to Blackpool North, Rochdale to Clitheroe and Wigan Wallgate to Southport.The Flash Sale launched on Monday with one million 50p tickets, three million £1 tickets and one million £2 tickets up for grabs at www.
All Flash Sale tickets must be booked seven days in advance of travel and are available online, via Northern’s app and website, which now features a new ‘Cheap Fare Finder’ tool. Northern is the second largest train operator in the UK, with 2,500 services a day to more than 500 stations across the North of England.
