These 12 amazing drone pictures have captured Watford town centre by twilight.
The images of the High Street and the town centre were taken by Watford resident Jason Ford on Wednesday, March 20, between 6.30pm and 7pm.It is currently Watford's tallest building, although it will eventually be eclipsed by a 28-storey in the Eight Gardens development in St Albans Road.These photos show the Grade-I listed St Mary's Church from various angles, which is Watford's oldest building as it is thought to be at least 800 years old.
The full-extent of the atria shopping centre is shown in these aerial shots, as well the large skylights in the roof.Watford's iconic stadium Vicarage Road can also be seen on the west side of the town. Here, you can see the multi-storey Church car park in Exchange Road as well as the winding access ramp.After it closed in 2014 after 46 years, it was redeveloped and now houses 25 apartments.We want our comments to be a lively and valuable part of our community - a place where readers can debate and engage with the most important local issues.
