The Navy said the sailors were removed from the ship and placed in isolation, and are receiving medical care. A"small number" of sailors who had been in contact with them also were removed, retested and quarantined, officials said. Public health experts are trying to learn more about why patients sometimes test positive for the coronavirus after appearing to recover.
