King County is forming its own Regional Office of Gun Violence Prevention as Seattle continues to deal with a record homicide pace.
TPD said a detective in an unmarked car saw a stolen vehicle on Strander Boulevard Tuesday night. With assistance from a uniformed detective in a patrol car, police successfully used spike strips on the stolen vehicle.
As Tukwila police indicated in their release, crimes involving younger and younger teens seem to be commonplace now around western Washington. Seattle police said they were in a chase in August in Rainier Beach with kids who turned out to be 12 and 13 years old.
