Carter took the job with Shayera, his reincarnated lover and the hero known as Hawkwoman. The museum’s relics often had strange ties to Carter and Shayera’s past lives.
11 Green Lantern : Bar Owner For a brief period of time, Green Lantern Guy Gardner traded in ring-slinging for drink-slinging. During his days as the non-Lantern hero Warrior, Guy started a trendy bar called Warriors that also doubled as his base of operations. The bar was eventually destroyed but, ever the businessman, Guy rebuilt his bar as the most popular hangout for Green Lanterns on Oa.
8 Batman: Groundskeeper For a brief period, Batman lost his memory after an intense battle with the Joker. In Red Hood/Arsenal #5, Jason Todd discovered that Bruce became a groundskeeper for the Lucius Fox Center for Gotham Youth. Unaware that Bruce was in a fugue state, Jason said his goodbyes to Batman, leaving him to work in the center until he regained his memory.
5 Superman: Military General Superman might prefer his day job working for The Daily Planet, but he was forced into an awkward position when he lived among his people during the “New Krypton” arc. After General Zod was seriously injured in an assassination attempt, Zod promoted Kal-El, a commander in the Kryptonian army, to the role of general. With such a weighty role placed upon him, Clark did everything he could to keep tensions between New Krypton and Earth to a minimum.
