He continued, saying,"Fred should have a heroic death and that would be impactful for Archie. It felt like that’s a way that Fred could have gone.
"As you can imagine, the episode was"incredibly hard to perform" for the entire cast and when they all arrived back on set for Season 4 it felt like they were all,"When we came back, we were right back in the incident as soon as we showed up on set. It's so hard because you expect to see him in Pop's or turning the corner...You feel him around. His spirit is still there and still with us.
