A coalition of 16 states led by California has launched legal action against the Trump administration

Trump sarcastically predicted the lawsuit last week and it was filed on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Some observers say those comments could have repercussions for Trump and undermine his legal arguments. The states allege that diverting funds from military construction projects, law enforcement and drug interdiction would lead to significant harm to public safety, natural resources and economic well-being.
