Taylor Hooker, 17, was arrested and faces a murder charge in a deadly shooting that occurred Memorial Day weekend in Lewisville.
3:00 PM on May 29, 2023 CDTTaylor Hooker was arrested about 1 p.m. Monday and will be booked into Lewisville Jail, police said. Hooker had not yet had a bond hearing and it was unclear whether he had an attorney.
Earlier in the weekend, police said an officer near the park in the 1800 block of South Edmonds Lane heard gunshots about 6:30 p.m. Saturday before finding a male victim with a gunshot wound in the head and a handgun nearby on the ground. He died from his injuries.Crime in The News
