A 2-alarm fire in an apartment building in Seattle's Westlake neighborhood left all of its residents temporarily displaced and an estimated $100,000 in damages.

A 2-alarm fire in an apartment building in Seattle’s Westlake neighborhood left all of its residents temporarily displaced and caused an estimated $100,000 in damages Saturday morning.
Flames could be seen through windows near a stairwell inside the building near the main lobby and spreading to other floors when the first fire units arrived on scene. According to SFD, firefighters had water on the fire and searched the entire building by 2:52 a.m. Crews helped evacuate residents impacted by the fire and requested others living in uninvolved units to shelter-in-place.
