A man and a woman were both pronounced dead after an early morning head-on crash on the Far South Side in the Morgan Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
About 1 a.m., a gray GMC Yukon was headed north in the 10700 block of South Vincennes Avenue when it struck a gray Lexus that was traveling south on Vincennes.The driver of the Yukon, a 38-year-old man, suffered trauma to the body, and was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman who was a passenger of the Lexus, also suffered trauma to the body, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
She was identified as Sabrina L. McCauley, 38, of the 200 block of West 115th Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.The driver of the Lexus, a 33-year-old man, suffered a broken leg, and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was listed in fair condition, police said.
