BREAKING NEWS: Huntington Beach Police are investigating a shooting involving an officer and an armed suspect in the Sunset Beach area.
In an update, police say one victim and the suspect were rushed to the hospital. The extent of their injuries wasn't released.No officers were injured in the incident. At this time, one victim & one suspect have been transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.It's unclear what prompted the shooting but police say there is no threat to public safety in the area.
Officers are currently blocking the area near Warner Avenue and S. Pacific as they continue their investigation.
