Two men were injured after exchanging gunfire Saturday night at a Walgreens in Old Town, according to Chicago police. Police said a 26-year-old man was working at a Walgreens store in the 1600 block of North Wells Street when a man in his late twenties entered the store at about 11:55 p.m.
The two got into a fight and both pulled out a handgun, exchanging gunfire, police said. Police said the employee sustained a graze wound to his chest and refused medical attention at the scene. The other man was shot in the chest, head and abdomen, and transported himself to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Police said they are investigating the shooting. rjohnson@chicagotribune.
