UPDATE: Security video shows a car nearly running down LAPD officers while speeding away after a marijuana dispensary burglary this morning in South L.A. The 2 officers were later injured in a crash while in pursuit of the suspects.
– Two Los Angeles police officers were hurt early Thursday morning when their patrol vehicle crashed while in pursuit of several suspects who were involved in a marijuana dispensary burglary in South L.A.The incident began a little after 5:07 a.m. when the LAPD officers responded to a burglary call at the Flower and Leaf Dispensary located in the 1500 block of Florence Avenue.
The video shows the LAPD officers arriving at the dispensary in their squad SUV. The suspect then scatter. A couple appear to run away on foot, while at least one gets into a car. The officers draw their guns on the car. However, the suspect speeds away, almost running them down in the process. It appears no shots were fired, however.
