Two veterans of the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office were recently named to top leadership posts.
Both are career prosecutors who have been with the office since the late 1990s, and each has handled cases in nearly all office units. Outside of the office, Downing-Mathis is active with the Eggerts Crossing Civic League, is a past president of the Association of Black Women Lawyers of New Jersey, the National District Attorneys Association and the National Black Prosecutors Association.Robert Downing
