BREAKING 20-year-old suspect charged with 3 counts of murder, along with other charges, in 7-Eleven crime spree across SoCal

During a Monday morning news conference, District Attorney Todd Spitzer announced three felony murder counts against Patt. The third murder charge stems from the murder of a homeless man that Patt committed in North Hills on July 9, Spitzer said.The two suspects in the string of robberies and shootings -- including two killings -- at several 7-Eleven stores in Southern California have been identified as Malik Patt, 20, and Jason Payne, 44.
Spitzer said that makes his eligible for the death penalty or life without the possibility of parole.
