This essentially means that the rear wing, which is essential for significant downforce at high speeds, is deleted and the rear fascia is slightly re-sculpted. The result is a much cleaner appearance to passers-by .
As expected, Porsche will allow buyers to further option their GT3 Touring Package to the nth degree — upgraded LED headlights, ceramic brakes, premium audio systems, a range of seats, and more are offered. And the exterior colors are only limited by imagination, thanks to the the automaker’s unique “paint to sample” program.
Dynamically, the GT3 and GT3 equipped with the Touring Package are literally identical on public roads at legal speeds — I mention that because the rear wing on the standard model will generate noticeably more downforce above 100 mph. There is near-immediate turn-in, impeccable stability, and gobs of grip thanks to the new double-wishbone front suspension on the 992 chassis. The rear is equally as planted, with much of the credit going to the sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
