Its sheetmetal is sharper, its interior is fancier and quieter, and Tesla says range has improved thanks to new tires and aero changes. What hasn't changed, however, are the battery and motors.
Passengers prone to motion sickness will love the 2024 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range for its focus on price over the neck-snapping, stomach-churning performance we've been accustomed to with other variants. Its 0-to-60-mph time of 5.6 seconds and quarter-mile sprint of 14.1 seconds makes it the slowest Model 3 we've tested, but it should be more than adequate for most buyers.
With quick and consistent power delivery, the 2024 Tesla Model 3 will have no issues outrunning a single-motor, front-wheel-drive 2022 Polestar 2,and 15.3 seconds to cross the quarter-mile in our testing.
