Excited fans flocked to On the Waterfront as the festival got underway today.
A sold out crowd descended onto the Pier Head for the first day of the music festival. It is the first event staged at the Pier Head since Eurovision in May and fans will be hoping to once again experience the amazing scenes we saw back then. Jamie Webster is tonight's headline act as the Scouser is set to electrify the sold out crowd of 13,000 with his powerful brand of emotionally charged working class rock music. The line-up was completed by fellow local artists, Michael Head & The Red Elastic Band, Reignmaker, Brooke Combe and Kairos.People donned stylish outfits for the brilliant first day of music.
