Three teenagers were arrested after the stolen car they were in struck a school bus in Newark on Wednesday morning, authorities said.
None of 11 Newark Central High School students aboard the bus were injured in the crash, which took place around 9:45 a.m on Branford Place near Broad Street,The teens in the vehicle tried to run away after the crash but were chased down by Newark police officers and taken into custody, officials said.The bus driver was checked after complaining of pain, police said. A school district spokeswoman couldn’t immediately be reached.
