Middle District of Pennsylvania released a report saying a Harrisburg man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for robbery and weapons offenses.

United States Attorney John C. Gurganus said Childes Neely, 30, pled guilty to conspiring with four other individuals to commit a total of four armed robberies.

During a three to hour period on Saturday night, April 6, 2019, Neely’s co-conspirators wore masks and brandished guns, including an assault rifle, to rob up to five establishments in Harrisburg. The report said the robbery spree lasted between three to four hours. Neely was the getaway driver during three of those robberies according to Gurganus.

Neely also pled guilty to plotting to rob, at gunpoint, a Rite Aid pharmacy in Harrisburg, on Monday, April 8, 2019. The report stated Neely’s role in that robbery was as a masked gunman to help take cash and drugs from the pharmacy.Brandon Harris, age 29, of Harrisburg, pled guilty to conspiring to commit the robberies. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison.

David Rinehardt, 21, of Statesville, North Carolina, also pled guilty of planning to commit the robberies and was sentenced to over nine years in prison. Harrisburg man, Kendrick Groover-Floyd,32, pled guilty to robbing the Rite Aid. Groover-Floyd is awaiting sentencing.
