The main pro is that your ink WILL NOT show through to the other pages even if you write on the front and the back of each page, assuming you're using an average pen. The main con is that because the pages are so thick the journal won't last as long as one with thin pages. I've been writing in it once daily for about a month now and it's already about a quarter of the way filled. The pages are also a nice cream color with very thin, light lines on each so they don't stand out too much. I will definitely buy another one in a new color when this one runs out.
