At least, if you ask 49ers general manager John Lynch.In his recent appearance on ESPN's The Pat McAfee Show, Lynch shut down those trade rumors and said he's doing everything he can to 'keep our roster together.''I love our roster. I love the way it's comprised,' Lynch asserted. 'As I said, we were right there.
As for Samuel, he has two years remaining on his deal but has an opt-out in his contract before the 2025 season.The 49ers will have to make some tough decisions soon, which is why Lynch took two wide receivers in this year's draft, Ricky Pearsall and Jacob Crowing. Lynch told McAfee that adding these two rookies strengthened the wide receiver room.'I think we made an already strong group even stronger,' Lynch said.
