which had regular Italian pizza types as well as some pies that were covered with local delicacies which fall under their Kuusamo Collection. The pizzas on the menu with salmon, reindeer and king prawns which were a little too avant garde for my pizza taste but their regular Margherita was excellent with a super crispy base straight out of the stone over topped with delicious mozzarella, tomato and basil.
Most people on the east coast know that New Haven, CT has great pizza but this may come as a surprise to people coming from the Midwest, West Coast or abroad. In fact, if you happen to be in the area it might even be worth a road trip. The most famous pizzeria is, so popular that you’ll probably have to wait up to an hour on weekend but it’s worth it.
