The 17-year-old was shot multiple times and was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:53 p.m., police said.A 15-year-old suffered a graze wound to the right shoulder and another 15-year-old suffered a graze wound to the buttocks. Both were transported to the hospital and placed in stable condition, according to the police.
“SEPTA Police will continue to assist PPD as this investigation moves forward. This was a horrific incident that claimed one life and left several others injured, including two women on the Route 6 bus who were just trying to go about their day. All SEPTA customers should be able to feel safe while they are traveling. We provide 700,000 passenger trips a day, and incidents like this are extremely rare.
