The volunteers cleaned up several sections of Spring Creek Nature Area and the Breckinridge Park playground as part of the city’s Community and Corporate Environmental Cleanup program. They represented the largest group of volunteers to ever work with the program outside of the city’s annual Trash Bash event, according to an announcement.
Volunteers divided into six groups and filled at least 400 large bags with trash according to event organizers.All supplies, such as gloves and trash tongs, are provided by the city.More information about the program and how to get involved is available
