The devs revealed exciting new Starfield details.
Developers from Bethesda recently participated in a Q&A session, revealing some exciting new details about Starfield. Bethesda had kept quiet about the game until the Starfield Direct that followed Xbox’s Summer showcase, where players experienced an incredibly in-depth look at the game. The developer Q&A continued the spirit of the conference, and it’s great to hear more about the game directly from the source, especially with the launch date so soon.
7 Starfield Has Player Homes In Every Major Settlement Starfield will allow players to have a home in every major settlement in the game. In the Q&A, which was recapped by ResetEra user vixolus, the developers clarified that several player homes could be purchased. Others are quest rewards, perhaps tied to completing a city’s major questline. Bethesda's past games also had this feature, especially in Oblivion and Skyrim.
Bethesda’s games are massive, so it’s rare for devs to have seen everything the game has to offer. However, Emil Pagliarulo, by nature of his position as Lead Designer, has seen it all and commented on how exciting it was to see the questlines evolve into what they are today. It’s a promising detail suggesting players will have much to explore in Starfield's massive setting.
4 Well-Known Actors Play The Starfield Protagonist’s Parents Starfield’s developers revealed in a Q&A that players might be very excited about the actors who portray the protagonist’s parents. Depending on the background and traits selected in character creation at the beginning of the game, players can meet their parents, who will be generated based on their character’s appearance. According to Pagliarulo, fans will appreciate the actors and how much they got into their roles.
