Hightown Housing Association unveiled Whippendell Marine in Whippendell Road at a site that was formerly the base for an electrical engineering firm for over 100 years.
Of the one, two, and three-bedroom flats, 45 are for rent for people who have been nominated by Watford Borough Council, while the remaining 36 are for shared ownership. Hightown chief executive David Bogle, resident at Hightown's 8,000 home Jon, mayor Peter Taylor, Hightown chair Bob Macnaughton An official opening event was held for the development, which was approved in 2018, as Watford mayor Peter Taylor officially cut the ribbon alongside the housing association’s chair and chief executive.
