For starters, the architects ditched the fountain and instead used the circular space that it once occupied to carve a similarly-shapedinto the building’s basement, drawing daylight into an area that had previously been illuminated only with artificial light. Within the light well, a small sunken garden also brings a hint of nature to the space.
