Woman killed by vehicle while leaving work at supermarket in MassachusettsA woman was hit by a vehicle and killed as she was leaving work at a supermarket in Revere, Massachusetts. Massachusetts Turnpike to Undergo Major FaceliftA major facelift is coming to the Massachusetts Turnpike, one that transit advocates are calling a game-changer — and which commuters hope won't lead to more traffic. The project, which would flatten and realign part of I-90 in Allston, construct a new MBTA station and unlock dozens of acres of vacant land, has received a $335 million injection of funding. A Better City, a local advocacy group, has been pushing for the project for over a decade. The project aims to improve access to the Charles River, create new parks, and develop new housing. It is also expected to create a new neighborhood in Allston called Beacon Park Yard.
