Larkhall councillor Richard Nelson has been honoured with an Indian Council Community Award from the Indian Council of Scotland and United Kingdom.
A South Lanarkshire councillor has been recognised for his outstanding work throughout the Covid pandemic.
His work in supporting the local community throughout the pandemic and his support to improve community facilities has been highlighted.
