. While such a vehicle has yet to come to fruition and is unlikely to in the future, this rendering shows just how dramatic a new performance car from the automaker could look.
This sketch was shared on the General Motors Design page on Instagram and created by Robin Krieg, the lead exterior designer at the Cadillac brand. The post doesn’t specifically state if Krieg designed this striking vehicle as a mid-engined supercar or a front-engined coupe but it does have the sultry proportions of the former and would look mean as hell in real life.
For quite some time, there was hopeful speculation that the C8 Corvette could spawn a Cadillac-badged supercar but that has not proven to be the case. While that’s a shame, the CTS-V Blackwing and ATS-V Blackwing prove that Cadillac can still make a seriously impressive performance car without having to dip its toe into a new segment of the market.
