Jacques V King of Scotland also stayed there in 1536 when he came to Paris to marry Madelaine de France.”... [+]The property was so large, it was incorporated into other mansions built on the site, including the 17th century’s Hôtel de Savoie and Hôtel de Nemours. In 1671, Hôtel de Nemours was demolished in the area where Rue de Savoie passes through today.
