At the 2008 Oscars, the ‘No Country for Old Men’ author Cormac McCarthy reflected on the film adaptation's many nominations accompanied by his son, John.

He said, “Isn’t it interesting how it could sound so much like the Irish name“Is this your son?” I asked, leaning over to wave at the little boy.
