A warming trend will continue this weekend with afternoon temperatures in the 70s.
A clear sky over Dallas taking feels like temperatures to the triple digits on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. A warming trend has begun across North Texas and it will continue into next week. Expect plenty of sunshine through the weekend with an active south breeze of 10 to 20 mph.
Weekend highs will be in the 70s, with 80s common early next week. Temperatures early next week should be about 10-15 degrees above normal. Next Tuesday and Wednesday could bring near-record warmth with highs in the mid 80s.The next cold front will arrive for the second half of next week. While it won’t be as cold as our previous front, it will bring highs back down into the 60s. No rain is expected through mid next week, although some rain is possible next weekend.
