Three weeks of road closures in the A41 near Watford, the M25, and Hemel Hempstead start tonight.
Hertfordshire County Council's Highways teams will shut the southbound carriageway between Two Waters Way slip road, Hemel Hempstead, and the M25 junction 20 roundabout at 9pm to improve the road surface.
It will reopen at 5am tomorrow and then be repeated each night from Monday to Friday until August 3.A Highways spokesperson said: “We're resurfacing the road for the comfort and safety of all road users and stabilising the road's foundation to reduce future maintenance.The work will include renewing the old road surface, ground stabilisation, cleaning drains, and reinstating road markings and studs.
