A significant stretch of the A60 Mansfield Road is closed in both directions due to a crash. The northbound carriageway was initially closed in Papplewick at the junction with Forest Lane, in the direction for Hucknall , at 3.30pm on Wednesday .
But the southbound carriageway has also since been shut. The road is now closed between Forest Lane and the Kighill Lane junction for Ravenshead. A spokesperson for the traffic monitoring site Inrix said: "A60 Mansfield Road in both directions closed, queueing traffic due to accident between the Hucknall turn off and the Kighill turn off .
