Aaron Wan-Bissaka has started the new season ahead of Diogo Dalot in the battle to become Man United's main right-back.
Manchester United ace Aaron Wan-Bissaka believes his battle for the right-back spot with Diogo Dalot is a positive for both themselves and the club.
In the build-up to the season curtain-raiser, much of the debate centred around who manager Erik ten Hag would select at right-back, with both Wan-Bissaka and Dalot having been given ample opportunities to impress during pre-season. "It helps a player not to take the foot off the pedal. You know that someone always wants your spot so you have got to give it your all."
The defender, addressing the demands Ten Hag has asked of him, added: "I think the first thing for me is understanding what he wants from me in and out of possession and where he wants me. That is one thing that I am enjoying and I'm getting confidence with it. The aim is to keep playing how I have been playing and to meet his demands."
