Stormy weather continued to impact the San Diego area this morning -- leading to flooding in the Mission Valley area. FORECAST DETAILS:
One more atmospheric river will bring rain and mountain snow tonight through Tuesday morning. The weather the rest of the week will be dry and cool with high pressure building over the eastern Pacific.Here are the totals from the National Weather Service, as of 11:30 p.m.:Julian: 4.78”A large system arrives tonight, so rainfall could be heavy overnight and tomorrow. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, expect rain in the morning before lighter showers in the evening.
The second storm system will be much colder than the one we saw Saturday, lowering snow levels. Snow levels will hover between 5,000 and 6,000’ Monday, then drop to 4,000 to 4,500’ Monday night into Tuesday. Several watches and advisories are still in place. A high surf advisory will remain in effect until 10 p.m. Tuesday. A wind advisory stretches from the coast to the mountains, remaining in effect from midnight until Monday morning at 7.
