Parents with pupils at the academy received a letter confirming the move
The principal of a Nottingham school has stepped down from their position months after they took on the role in April. Parents with pupils at Bulwell Academy received a letter on Monday, October 31, stating that principal Sara Wildes had stepped down from her position "with immediate effect".
Sam Williamson has taken on the role of interim head of school. To maintain stability in its leadership, the school will also be welcoming Chris Keen, the current principal at Ellis Guildford School, who has taken on the role of executive principal for the academy and will be leading both schools.Mr Keen has more than 10 years of experience as a principal, including several years as a principal for the Creative Education Trust.
A CET spokesperson said: “We can confirm that Principal Sara Wildes has stepped down from her position at Bulwell Academy to pursue other opportunities. We are grateful to Sara for her contribution to the Bulwell community and for all of her hard work since taking up this post.
