“When planning a wedding, it is so easy to get caught up in what could go wrong and what will be ‘less than perfect.’ But when everything goes wrong you start to see what really matters,' says the bride.
was the florist for their original wedding. “When that all fell apart, Kris and I reached out to both of them to tell them that we would keep them posted on what we may try to come up with in the coming months, and they both expressed that they were down to adjust to whatever we may do. On the day of the ceremony, the love was palpable. “We all had been waiting for this moment for so long,” Briana says. “And since we hadn’t been around other people because of COVID-19, it made it incredibly special to be sharing space with so many people we loved.” During the ceremony, the couple read the vows they’d written themselves. “Of course Kris’s vows were combined with a song he had written for me for this moment,” Briana says. “Somehow, he wrote a song based on the notes that used the letters of my name, another moment that totally wrecked me and I think everyone around us.” The judge then had the couple exchange rings, and they were pronounced husband and wife.
