SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio - An Akron man pleaded guilty to stabbing two men to death in 2020.Jason ShockleyBoth men were found murdered in their Akron homes.Akron police found Ballis’s body when they responded to his home on Wilmot Street for a welfare check.
Shockley was taken into custody at a vacant home on Kent Court in Akron on May 22, 2020. According to police, Ballis’s stolen Subaru Outback was also found at the home. He faces up to life in prison when he is sentenced by Summit County Common Pleas Judge Christine Croce on April 18.
