Akron Marathon Charitable Corp. announced FirstEnergy Corp., Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and National Interstate Insurance Co. again pledged support through 2024 for the Akron Marathon Race Series presented by Summa Health.National Interstate 8k and 1 Mile:Saturday, June 24-25. The one-mile run will be Friday, and the 8K is set for Saturday. Course highlights the University of Akron campus.The half marathon and 10k are Saturday, Aug. 13. Goodyear’s Proving Grounds serve as the starting line.
