The BHA toner is available in stores from today
Available in store from today, May 18, the new toner has been formulated with ingredients including salicylic acid, camellia sinensis and leaf extract. All of the ingredients are similar to the Paula’s Choice toner which also includes salicylic acid, camellia oleifera and sodium hydroxide.
The Aldi toner promises to offer a ‘gentle’ and ‘lightweight formula’ which removes dead skin for a ‘luminous’ complexion. Available in stores only, the dupe is set to be popular among shoppers.On the Cult Beauty website, the full product description for the Paula's Choice toner reads: "When the breakout hits, this Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant from PAULA's CHOICE is an essential in your skin care armoury.
"Combined with its anti-inflammatory properties, this helps to reduce blemishes and blackheads for a more clarified complexion . Aiding salicylic acid in its blemish-clearing mission, methylpropanediol enhances absorption so you can get the most out of each and every ingredient, while simultaneously boosting hydration levels, and green tea extract delivers a hefty dose of antioxidants to soothe and protect.
The BHA ingredient in the Paula's Choice toner offers anti-inflammatory properties to help reduce the appearance of breakouts and blackheads. The latest addition to Aldi’s extensive beauty range promises the same outcome, and comes as celebrities such as Selena Gomez 'swear by' the Paula's Choice product.
The Paula Choice toner has already generated 471m views on TikTok alone.
