Having use both silver shampoos from Olaplex and Aldi - I put them both to the test
Having brassy blonde hair can be a pain if you're wanting that icy blonde look - take it from me, I've been bleaching my hair for years!
The Lacura Bonded Purple Shampoo is priced at £3.99 and formulated with violet pigments to remove brassy tones. I managed to get my hands on a bottle and it's safe to say that I'm pretty impressed. However, that didn't put me off the Aldi version, as it was pretty expected. I was actually really impressed with the scent of this Aldi silver shampoo too, which was quite fruity.
Even when my hair was wet, I could tell how strong this shampoo was. It wasn't until I dried it, though, that I'd noticed just how much the colour of my hair had changed.
