is set to premiere on HBO Max, a brand new streaming service, in 2020. The show will start with a reported ten episodes, and as far as the modern-day update goes, the crew confirmed that some changes are in store.
According to, social media will play a major role, with the show set to take place eight years afterJosh also detailed how the update would take a different tone than the original, saying, "We’re excited about being able to tell us a different version of the story, and with different levels of restrictions, and obviously, also with streaming, there’s fewer episodes. So how you unpack those stories, or how you tell those stories can obviously vary different from a broadcast model.
