Alex Rodriguez, ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis celebrate daughter Natasha’s graduation
Alex Rodriguez is one proud dad.
The former MLB star, 47, shared an emotional post on Instagram over the weekend, celebrating 18-year-old daughter Natasha Rodriguez’s high school graduation. “Yesterday was bittersweet. Tashi, I can’t make time stand still, so my wish for you is to go out in the world with confidence, knowing your worth and believing in yourself,” he“As you move on from one chapter to the next, I’m most proud of who you are as a person,” he continued. “Honest, kind, compassionate, intuitive and wise beyond your years.”Alex concluded the post by stating that as Natasha’s father, he’s supposed to be her role model.
“I still can’t believe this is a real opportunity I’ve been given, and it’s an absolute dream come true,” Natasha shared on Instagram at the time.“Can’t believe she’s about to graduate and head off to college. I’ve got all the emotions. For now, GO BLUE!! 💙,” her dad commented.She filed for divorce in 2008 citing the “emotional abandonment” of their daughters, as well as infidelity, as the reasons for the dissolution of their marriage.
